    SMYRNA, TN – It is unclear if anyone was injured when a vehicle crashed into a creek in Smyrna Tuesday afternoon.

    According to WSMV, the single-vehicle crash took place on Rock Springs Road near Blue Springs Drive on February 22nd.

    Heavy rainfall and slippery road conditions reportedly caused the vehicle to slide into the creek.

    Smyrna police were able to rescue the occupants from the vehicle. It is unclear if anyone required medical attention as a result of the crash.

    Authorities request that drivers use caution on the roadways at this time.

    Crash reported on I-40 near Kingston Springs

    NASHVILLE, TN – Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a serious crash on I-40 eastbound late Tuesday morning.

    According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash took place on I-40 eastbound near mile marker 186 around 10:30 AM on February 22nd.

    Troopers have yet to report the cause of the accident. The number and severity of injuries remain unknown as well.

    One eastbound lane was shut down as first responders worked to clear the scene. All lanes have since reopened.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the crash took place at 263 Hermitage Avenue at 9:46 AM on February 23rd.

    Metro Nashville school bus involved in two-vehicle crash

    NASHVILLE, TN – It is unclear if anyone suffered injuries after a two-vehicle collision involving a Metro Nashville school bus Tuesday morning. 

    According to WKRN, the crash took place at 1701 21st Avenue South at 7:53 AM. The bus was en route to Harris Hillman School. 

    A car reportedly crashed into the side of the bus.

    There were five students on board the bus at the time of the crash. The extent of injuries remains unclear.

    Metro police continue to investigate the collision.

    Minor injuries reported in crash involving police car

    MURFREESBORO, TN – Two officers sustained minor injuries after their vehicle was involved in a crash Monday night.

    According to News Channel 5, the crash took place on Joe B. Jackson Parkway near Elam Farms Parkway around 8:00 PM on February 21st.

    A vehicle reportedly t-boned the police car. 

    The two officers and the driver of the other vehicle were treated by medics at the scene. No one was taken to the hospital. 

    The crash remains under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol.
