ALCOA, TN – At least two people were taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash in Alcoa on Monday morning.

According to a report by the Daily Times, the crash occurred at about 5:51 p.m. within the 3400 block of Alcoa Highway, just outside of West Chevrolet.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, two vehicles were involved, and multiple occupants were transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.

MURFREESBORO, TN – Major delays were reported following an early-afternoon crash in Murfreesboro on Tuesday.

According to Total Traffic Nashville, the accident occurred at about 12:40 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-840, near the exit to Jefferson Pike.

NASHVILLE, TN – Metro police were called to the scene of a collision with injuries at the Nashville Airport on Tuesday morning.

According to Nashville’s current traffic accidents page, the crash took place just before noon within the 900 block of Airport Service Road.

COOPERTOWN, TN – A former Pleasant View Volunteer Firefighters was flown to the hospital after a major rollover collision in Coopertown on Sunday morning.

According to a report by Smokey Barn News, the crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m.along Flewellyn Road, near the intersection with Hummingbird Court.

Police say the man lost control of his pickup truck for unknown reasons. The truck then rolled over in the roadway, ejecting the man in the process.

The victim was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in unknown condition.

NASHVILLE, TN – A woman died after being struck by a vehicle in south Nashville last Friday night.

According to WZTV, the woman was hit shortly before 11:30 p.m. along Bell Road, near the intersection with Nashboro Boulevard.

A witness told police the unidentified woman was lying in the road and attempting to flag down a motorist when she was run over by another vehicle.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges are expected to be filed against the drivers involved.
