    According to Total Traffic Nashville, the accident occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. along the ramp from Ellington Parkway to Briley Parkway.

    The ramp was shut down for just under an hour while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened by 8:30 a.m.

    Driver arrested after crashing into Springfield home

    SPRINGFIELD, TN – A driver was taken into custody after crashing into a home in Springfield on Wednesday night.

    According to a report by Smokey Barn News, the incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. within the 400 block of Pawnee Drive, near the intersection with Brown Street.

    Police say the driver lost control of their vehicle after failing to navigate a turn and crashed into the side of the home.

    A family of three was eating dinner inside the home when the accident occurred. Fortunately, no one suffered injuries as a result. However, the home sustained significant structural damages.

    The driver was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Roberson County Detention Facility.

    Major crash blocks all lanes on I-65 at Moores Ln.

    NASHVILLE, TN – All lanes were shut down following a major collision along I-65 early Wednesday morning.

    According to a report by Total Traffic Nashville, the incident took place at about 6 a.m. within the southbound lanes of the interstate, near the exit to Moores Lane.

    The cause of the collision remains unclear at this time. However, traffic camera footage from the scene shows several emergency vehicles blocking all lanes of travel.

    Although no injuries have been reported at this time, EMS was spotted at the scene.

    All southbound lanes were closed for about a half-hour. Traffic can be seen getting by slowly at about 6:30 a.m.

    Man in wheelchair struck while crossing Murfreesboro street

    MURFREESBORO, TN – A man in a wheelchair was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a busy street in Murfreesboro on Monday.

    According to WZTV, the man was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck at about 4 p.m. while crossing the southbound lanes of Broad Street at Brinkley Avenue.

    It is unclear if the victim was crossing in a designated crosswalk at the time of the crash. He was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
