    NASHVILLE, TN – A woman was sent to the hospital after her vehicle crashed into a utility pole on White Bridge Pike on Thursday.

    According to WSMV, the crash occurred in the early morning hours, near the intersection with Knob Road.

    Investigators say the woman lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons, causing it to flip over and strike a utility pole.

    The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Power was knocked out to several homes in the area but has since been restored.

    Crash blocks several lanes on I-40 at Spence Lane

    NASHVILLE, TN – Several lanes were shut down following a collision on I-40 late Wednesday morning.

    According to a report by Total Traffic Nashville, the accident occurred shortly before 10:15 a.m. on the westbound side of the interstate, near the Spence Lane overpass

    The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, at least three westbound lanes were closed as a result.

    NASHVILLE, TN – Metro police were called to the scene of a collision just west of downtown on Wednesday morning.

    According to Nashville’s current traffic accidents page, the collision took place at about 10:46 a.m. within the 2400 block of Charlotte Avenue, near the intersection with 24th Avenue North.

    According to a report by WKRN, the dump truck hauling rocks crashed along Carothers Parkway, near the Falcon Creek neighborhood.

    It is unclear what caused the truck to overturn at this time. However, this portion of Carothers Pkwy. was shut down for several hours while emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.

    Officer, driver injured while assisting disabled motorist on I-40

    MT. JULIET, TN – A driver and a Mt. Juliet community service officer suffered injuries while assisting another motorist along I-40 on Tuesday.

    According to a report by WTVF, the incident occurred sometime before 4 p.m. near mile marker 226.

    Police say the community service officer and another driver were assisting a third motorist after their vehicle had broken down when the MPD vehicle was hit.

    Both the officer and driver sustained injuries deemed to be non-life-threatening. It is unclear if any charges will be filed against the at-fault driver at this time.
