NASHVILLE, TN – Three people were sent to the hospital after an 18-wheeler crashed through a home in Nashville on Thursday afternoon.
According to WZTV, the incident took place sometime before 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wanda Drive and Elm Hill Pike.
Fortunately, no one was in the home at the time of the crash. However, both occupants in the truck were extricated and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A third victim at the scene refused treatment at first but was taken to the hospital after showing signs of illness.
The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time.
