NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle collision on I-40 eastbound Thursday afternoon.
According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the crash occurred at exit 199 for Old Hickory Boulevard at 1:58 PM on February 24th.
Officials have yet to release an official cause of the crash. However, heavy rain and slippery roads most likely contributed to the accident.
The number and severity of injuries remains unknown at this time.
Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police continue to investigate the crash.
