NASHVILLE, TN – Four individuals were involved in a crash while driving to the hospital after a shooting on Clarksville pike on Tuesday night.
According to News Channel 5, a woman was fatally shot along Clarksville Pike shortly before 7 p.m. Moments later, police and fire officials were called to a single-vehicle crash within the 2100 block of Hayes Street.
Responding officers say the driver, who had been injured in the shooting, crashed into a pole while driving to the hospital.
Of the four occupants in the vehicle, three were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for both gunshot wounds and injuries sustained in the wreck. The fourth victim was taken to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.
