RUTHERFORD CO., TN – A Rutherford County Sheriff’s Deputy suffered injuries following a high-speed crash on I-840 Tuesday morning.
According to a report by WKRN, the crash occurred shortly before noon as the deputy was directing traffic in a construction zone on the ramp to Sulphur Springs Road.
The deputy was sitting in his parked vehicle when it was struck from behind by another driver. Both individuals involved in the crash were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
