NASHVILLE, TN – One person was killed and another suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision on Bell Road Saturday evening.
According to FOX 17, the fatal accident occurred on Bell Road near Smith Springs Road around 7:30 PM on December 4th.
Witnesses report that the victim was traveling at excessive speed when they swerved into oncoming traffic. Their vehicle collided head-on with a pickup truck.
The unidentified victim, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries.
Police state the primary cause of the crash appears to be reckless driving on the part of the victim. There is no evidence that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
