NASHVILLE, TN – Metro Police are reporting at least one fatality resulting from an early Tuesday morning crash on I-24.
According to a report by WKRN, the crash occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of the interstate, near the exit to Haywood Lane.
The total number of people injured in the crash is unclear at this time. However, this situation is still developing.
The roadway was shut down until about 9:15 a.m. while crews worked to clear the scene.
