TROUSDALE, CO., TN – A school bus driver suffered minor injuries after strong winds caused the school bus to overturn Monday morning.
According to WSMV, the rollover crash took place on Old Highway 25 on the the bus driver’s property at 6:20 AM.
The driver was reportedly warming up the bus when strong winds flipped the vehicle onto its side. The wind also blew a nearby 5th-wheel camper into the side of the bus. Fortunately, the driver was able to escape through the emergency exit at the top of the bus.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash.
The school bus sustained heavy damage.
