NASHVILLE, TN – Multiple lanes were shut down following an early-morning crash on I-40 in the Bellevue area early Wednesday morning.
According to Total Traffic Nashville, the accident was reported at about 2:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate, between Highway 70 and McCrory Lane.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, all westbound lanes were shut down afterward while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
