NASHVILLE, TN – At least one lane was shut down following a collision on I-40 in south Nashville on Thursday.
According to a report by Total Traffic Nashville, the accident took place at about 6:30 a.m. within the westbound lanes of I-40, near the I-24 split.

The second lane from the left was blocked, forcing traffic to get by slowly in the surrounding lanes.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
