WALLAND, TN – A man from Fairview died Saturday after a motorcycle accident in the Great Smoky Mountains.
According to The Daily Times, the crash occurred when the man lost control of his motorcycle along the Foothills Parkway, between Walland and Wears Valley.
First responders attempted life-saving measures on the man until he could be transported to Blount Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while in transport.
Investigators believe speed played a role in the fatal crash.
