MONTEREY, TN – At least one person has died after a fatal three-vehicle crash on I-40 westbound Wednesday afternoon.
According to WSMV, the crash occurred on I-40 westbound near mile marker 289 around 2:15 PM on November 10th.
A vehicle reportedly crossed over the center line and struck another vehicle head-on. It is unclear how the third vehicle was involved.
The number of victims and the severity of any injuries remain unknown.
Westbound lanes remained closed until the late afternoon on Wednesday.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal accident.
