NASHVILLE, TN – An elderly person was extricated from their vehicle after being trapped in floodwaters on the Vanderbilt University campus Wednesday.
According to WSMV, fire crews responded to the scene along 24th Avenue South.
First responders were able to pull the elderly occupant from their vehicle to safety. It is unclear if any injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.
