MURFREESBORO, TN – A man in a wheelchair was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a busy street in Murfreesboro on Monday.
According to WZTV, the man was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck at about 4 p.m. while crossing the southbound lanes of Broad Street at Brinkley Avenue.

It is unclear if the victim was crossing in a designated crosswalk at the time of the crash. He was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
