NASHVILLE, TN – Two people, including a Metro Police officer, were hospitalized following a north Nashville collision early Friday morning.
According to WKRN, the crash took place at about 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of 12th Avenue and Buchanan Street.
Investigators say the officer was responding to an unrelated incident when the other crashed into the rear of the cruiser. The second vehicle then rolled over in the roadway.
The driver of the second vehicle said he suffered a medical episode prior to the crash. Both he and the officer were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
