NASHVILLE, TN – A motorcyclist was killed after slamming into the rear of a semi-truck on Elm Hill Pike this morning.
According to WKRN, the crash occurred at about 10:40 a.m. within the 1600 block of Elm Hill Pike, just west of Mill Creek.
Police say the driver of the semi slowed to turn left into a driveway when the motorcycle crashed into the rear. The unidentified male rider was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Police do not believe impairment played a role in the crash.
