WILSON CO., TN – A man from Mt. Juliet suffered fatal injuries after crashing into a tree on Tuesday afternoon, WKRN reports.
The accident took place at about 4:30 p.m. along Old Lebanon Dirt Road, at the intersection with Nighthawk Lane.
Police say the 41-year-old driver of a 2018 Ford Explorer was eastbound on Old Lebanon Dirt Road when they lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. The Ford then drifted off the left side of the road and slammed head-on into a tree.
The driver was transported to TriStart Summit Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
