NASHVILLE, TN – Briley Parkways remains blocked off by a multi-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday morning.
According to News Channel 5, the crash took place on Briley Parkway between Two Rivers Parkway and Lebanon Pike at 10:26 AM on January 6th.
Metro police state that the crash was caused by heavy snow and slippery road conditions.
The accident is currently blocking the roadway. It is unclear if first responders have been able to get through.
The total number and severity of injuries is unknown at this time.
Authorities request that local drivers avoid the area until the scene is cleared.
The crash remains under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police.
