NASHVILLE, TN – A multi-vehicle crash on I-40 westbound has caused significant traffic delays Wednesday morning.
According to WSMV, the accident occurred on I-40 westbound just east of the 155 interchange around 8:00 AM on November 3rd.
The crash involved multiple vehicles, but the exact number remains unknown.
Metro police and emergency medical services responded to the scene. The number and severity of injuries suffered is unknown.
The two left lanes and left shoulder have been shut down as first responders work to clear the wreckage.
Tennessee Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash. New updates will be posted when they are available.
