NASHVILLE, TN – Two separate crashes caused major delays at a busy freeway interchange near downtown Nashville this morning.
According to a report by Total Traffic Nashville, the accidents took place shortly after 7 a.m. at the I-24, I-40 interchange in southeast Nashville.

It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collisions. However, both the right lane and left shoulder were blocked while crews worked to move the wreckage to the side of the road.
