NASHVILLE, TN – Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Nashville Sunday morning.
According to WIBW, the accident took place on I-24 westbound near Haywood Lane around 9:30 AM on September 19th. One of the victims had been driving a 2010 Honda Civic when they lost control of the vehicle and exited the roadway, striking the right guardrail. The Honda Civic then veered back into traffic and was struck by a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup truck.
Both the driver and passenger of the Honda Civic sadly died at the scene. They had been wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.
