NASHVILLE, TN – One person suffered serious injuries after jumping onto a moving semi-truck Monday night.
WKRN reports that the incident occurred on I-40 near McCory Lane at 9:45 PM on October 4th. According to Metro police, the person jumped onto the cab of the truck and held onto the rear-view mirror while the truck driver continued to drive. They eventually either jumped off or fell and suffered critical injuries.
Metro Police continue to investigate the accident, and state that it may be connected to a dangerous game first started in Atlanta in which people attempt to jump onto and ride moving vehicles.
