NASHVILLE, TN – A Metro police officer suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on I-440 Wednesday morning.
According to WKRN, the crash took place on I-440 westbound at mile marker 0.2 around 10:00 AM on February 16th.
The cause of the accident remains unknown at this time. Similarly, the number of vehicles involved in the crash is unclear.
The officer was reportedly taken to the hospital from the scene. Their current condition is unknown.
The westbound ramp from I-440 to I-40 is currently shut down. It is unclear when the ramp will reopen.
