MONTGOMERY CO., TN – One person has died after a fatal accident on I-24 in the Clarksville area Thursday evening.
According to WKRN, the fatal crash took place on I-24 near mile marker 16 on January 6th.
Police state that heavy snow and icy road conditions contributed to the accident.
The number of vehicles involved in the crash is unknown at this time.
Authorities have yet to identify the victim.
Tennessee Highway Patrol requests that drivers use extreme caution on the roadways and only travel if necessary.
