NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died and two drivers have been arrested after a two-vehicle collision Friday night.
According to FOX 17, the fatal crash occurred on Gallatin Pike North the night of January 14th.
A Honda Civic reportedly crashed into a Chevrolet S-10 truck. The Honda Civic struck the Chevrolet as the truck was backing out of a driveway, splitting the truck in two.
The passenger of the Chevrolet truck died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the Honda Civic admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the accident. Metro police charged them with vehicular homicide by intoxication and aggravated assault by reckless conduct with the use of a deadly weapon.
Police also charged the driver of the Chevrolet truck with DUI and drug possession after narcotics and paraphernalia were discovered in the truck.
Neither driver had a valid license or insurance.
