SMYRNA, TN – One person has died and another suffered serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning.
According to WKRN, the fatal crash took place in the 2000 block of West Jefferson Pike on January 22nd.
The vehicle reportedly exited the roadway and crashed into a driveway culvert. The vehicle was then thrown airborne for roughly 25 yards and overturned multiple times.
The driver unfortunately died as a result of the accident.
The front seat passenger suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.
