NASHVILLE, TN – Metro police suspect foul play after one person died from injuries suffered in a house fire Wednesday night.
According to WSMV, the fire was reported at a home on Quail Court East the evening of February 2nd.
Witnesses state that they saw several people run from the home shortly before flames became visible. The single resident suffered serious injuries as a result of the fire. They were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but died shortly after arrival.
Nashville Fire Investigators have yet to report an official cause of the fire. The incident remains under investigation. Authorities continue to search for the people seen running from the house.
