KNOXVILLE, TN – A pedestrian was killed this morning after being struck by a tractor-trailer in West Knoxville.
According to a report by WBIR, the victim was hit at the shopping center on the 11400 block of Parkside Drive at about 4:30 a.m.
The circumstances leading up to the fatal crash are unclear at this time. However, the roadway was shut down for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
