NASHVILLE, TN – Three people were taken to the hospital following an incident outside of a Walmart in the Madison area on Monday evening.
According to a report by WKRN, the incident occurred at the Walmart within the 2200 block of Gallatin Pike North.
Initial reports were of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle in front of the store.
Investigators believe the driver of an unspecified vehicle was attempting o shoot a female but did not hit her. A bystander to the incident was then struck by the vehicle.
The bystander, along with two other individuals, were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of various injuries. However, none of the injuries were gunshot-related.
