NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a vehicle while crossing the road in a wheelchair last Tuesday.
According to FOX 17, the collision occurred on Dickerson Pike on November 2nd.
The pedestrian was crossing the road in a wheelchair when they were struck by a Kia Sportage. The victim reportedly showed signs of intoxication at the scene of the crash.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries. They were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where they unfortunately died on Tuesday November 9th.
The driver of the Kia suffered no injuries.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal accident.
