NASHVILLE, TN – A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a vehicle on Gallatin Pike in the early hours of Monday morning.
According to FOX 17, the fatal crash took place on Gallatin Pike at Briley Parkway around 2:00 AM on December 27th.
The pedestrian was reportedly struck by a Ford Explorer while crossing the northbound lanes of Gallatin Pike. The Ford had just exited off of Briley Parkway.
It is unclear if the pedestrian died at the scene or after being hospitalized.
Metro police state that the area of the crash was very dark and the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk. The driver of the Ford is not expected to face any charges.
