NASHVILLE, TN – There were significant traffic delays on I-24 West after a tractor trailer overturned Monday morning.
According to WKRN, the single-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-24 on the Silliman Evans Bridge around 8:00 AM on December 13th.
It is unclear what caused the semi-truck to overturn.
The number and severity of any injuries suffered remain unknown.
The on ramps from I-40 and I-65 were shut down as first responders cleared the scene. The bridge reopened to through traffic around 10:15 AM.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
