NASHVILLE, TN – Two juvenile passengers suffered injuries after a suspected drunk-driving accident in north Nashville Wednesday afternoon.
According to FOX 17, the crash occurred at the intersection of West Trinity Lane and Free Silver Road on October 6th.
Metro police report that the right side of the vehicle was crushed in the accident. Two passengers, both under the age of eighteen, sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Police found an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. The driver has been charged with driving under the influence, two counts of child endangerment, and two counts of aggravated child neglect. They are currently being held in Davidson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
