NASHVILLE, TN – One woman is dead and another was injured following a major wrong-way crash on I-65 early Sunday morning.
According to WKRN, the crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. near Rosa L Parks Blvd.
Investigators say the driver of a Kia Soul was traveling north in the southbound lanes of the freeway and collided with a tractor-trailer.
The woman in the at-fault vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was treated for minor injuries and released.
Police say a third vehicle was involved in the crash. However, no further details were released.
