LA VERGNE, TN – One person was critically injured following a 13-car pileup on I-24 southeast of Nashville yesterday, WSMV reports.
The crash happened near the Waldron Road exit in La Vergne, when a green Buick broke down in the travel lanes and caused a chain-reaction crash that eventually involved 13 vehicles.
The Buick’s driver was critically injured in the collision. No one else appears to have been hurt.
Further investigations are ongoing.
