ASHLAND CITY, TN – More details have emerged regarding Wednesday’s collision in Cheatham County.
WSMV reports that emergency crews responded to a head-on crash on Old Clarksville Pike. Photos taken at the scene suggest that a passenger vehicle was involved, and we previously reported that the driver of a dump truck became trapped in the wreckage afterward the collision.
Pleasant View Volunteer Fire pulled that individual from the damaged truck, and then prepared a landing area for a helicopter from Vanderbilt Lifeflight and Air Evac.
Two individuals were transported to area hospitals by that medical helicopter, while a third was taken by ambulance.
No further details are available at this time. However, we will continue to monitor this story for further developments.
