MAURY CO., TN – One person suffered minor injuries after their vehicle crashed into a creek Monday morning.
According to WKRN, the crash took place on Enterprise Road near Golf Club Road around 5:30 AM on January 3rd.
A Jeep reportedly exited the roadway and veered into Sugar Creek. The vehicle was submerged above the tires.
Maury County EMS and the Mount Pleasant Fire Department were able to rescue the driver from the partially frozen creek.
The unidentified driver suffered a broken ankle. They are currently in stable condition.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
