LEBANON, TN – One person died and three others, including an underage passenger, suffered injuries in a head-on collision Thursday afternoon.
According to WKRN, the fatal crash occurred on Carthage Highway near Rome Pike around 4:00 PM on November 25th.
The driver of a Ford Mustang was traveling westbound when they crossed over the center lane into oncoming traffic. The Mustang subsequently collided head-on with an eastbound Dodge Charger.
The driver of the Mustang unfortunately died at the scene.
An underage passenger of the Mustang also sustained injuries. Both the driver and passenger of the Dodge Charger suffered injuries as well. Their current conditions are all currently unknown.
Carthage Highway was shut down for an hour following the crash.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the details of the crash.
