WILSON CO., TN – Two multi-vehicle accidents involving minor injuries shut down I-40 eastbound Thursday morning.
According to WSMV, the two crashes took place on I-40 eastbound near mile marker 223 at 6:08 AM on October 28th. In total, seven vehicles were involved in the accidents.
Tennessee Highway Patrol has yet to report the events leading up to the crash or an official cause.
Several people suffered minor injuries, but their conditions are unknown at this time.
All lanes of I-40 eastbound have since reopened.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
