    One killed, two injured in wrong way crash

    NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died and two others suffered injuries after a wrong way crash on I-440 Sunday evening.

    According to WKRN, the fatal crash took place on I-440 westbound near mile marker 4.8 around 9:00 PM on January 30th. 

    The driver of the Toyota Corolla sadly died at the scene. A passenger in the Toyota Corolla and a passenger of the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

    The driver of the pickup truck showed signs of serious impairment at the scene. Metro police have charged the driver with vehicular homicide by intoxication. They are currently being held in the Metro jail.

    At least one injured in Oak Hill crash

    NASHVILLE, TN – At least one person suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle collision in the Oak Hill neighborhood Friday morning.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the crash occurred at 1125 Overton Lea Road at 10:50 AM on January 28th.

    The events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. At least two vehicles were involved in the accident.

    Similarly, the number and severity of injuries suffered remains unknown.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police continue to investigate the collision.

    At least one injured in Antioch crash

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the collision occurred at the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and British Woods Drive at 12:53 PM on January 27th.

    Three killed in single-vehicle crash

    THOMPSON STATION, TN – Three people were killed in a single-vehicle accident that was discovered late Wednesday evening.

    According to News Channel 5, the fatal crash took place on I-840 near Boston Theta Road on January 16th.

    The three occupants of the vehicle were reported missing following the crash. However, authorities did not discover the crashed vehicle until Wednesday, January 26th.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that the vehicle most likely hit a patch of ice and exited the roadway. The vehicle subsequently fell 100 feet into a ravine. All three occupants died on impact.

    The crash appears to be weather related. Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal accident.

    Pedestrian struck and killed in Murfreesboro

    MURFREESBORO, TN – A pedestrian has died after they were struck three times by three vehicles Wednesday evening.

    According to WKRN, the fatal collision occurred on South Church Street near Warrior Drive around 6:00 PM on January 26th.

    The pedestrian was reportedly walking in the left turn lane of South Church Street. A Ford F-150 moved into the left turn lane and struck the pedestrian. The impact of the crash threw the pedestrian’s body into the center lane where they were struck again by a Honda CRV. A Nissan Altima, unable to slow down in time, then hit the pedestrian for a third time.

    All three drivers remained at the scene following the crash.

    The pedestrian unfortunately died at the scene.

    Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Murfreesboro Police Department’s Fatal Accident team continue to investigate the collision.

    I-24 crash results in injuries

    NASHVILLE, TN – There are reports of injuries after a multi-vehicle crash on I-24 westbound in the Woodbine area Wednesday morning.

    According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the crash occurred on I-24 westbound near mile marker 53 at 10:00 AM.

    Authorities have yet to establish an official cause of the accident.

    Similarly, the total number and severity of injuries suffered remains unknown. 

    The accident remains under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro police.
