NASHVILLE, TN – The driver of a gasoline tanker has been charged with driving under the influence after causing a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.
According to WKRN, the accident occurred on Highway 31 in Spring Hill around 8:00 AM on November 3rd.
The driver of the gasoline tanker allegedly crossed over the center line into oncoming traffic. The tanker subsequently crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Suburban and Hyundai Sonata.
The driver of the Suburban suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. Their current condition is unknown.
The driver of the gasoline tanker failed a sobriety test at the scene. Metro police charged the driver with driving under the influence and reckless endangerment. They are currently being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.
