CLARKSVILLE, TN – Several people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on I-24 westbound late Wednesday morning.

According to WSMV, the collision took place on I-24 westbound at mile marker 3 around 11:00 AM on October 20th.

The exact number and severity of injuries remains unclear at this time.

All westbound lanes in the area surrounding the accident were shut down until 1:00 PM. 

The Tennessee Department of Transportation continues to investigate the crash and will release new details when they become available.

NASHVILLE, TN – A multi-vehicle collision with injuries was reported in Nashville’s Hopewell neighborhood Wednesday morning.

According to Nashville and Davidson County Traffic Reporting, the crash occurred at the intersection of Granwood Boulevard and 2nd Street at 6:53 AM on October 20th.

LEBANON, TN – Part of Highway 231 was shut down Tuesday morning after a semi truck overturned in a single-vehicle crash.

According to WSMV, the crash took place in the 3000 block of Murfreesboro Road at 7:45 AM on October 19th.  The official cause of the accident is unknown.

It is unclear if the truck driver suffered any injuries in the accident.

The roadway remained closed for several hours as first responders cleared the scene.

NASHVILLE, TN – The westbound lanes of I-24 between Briley Parkway and I-440 were shut down Saturday night after a multi-vehicle crash.

According to WKRN, the crash took place at mile marker 53.2 shortly after 10:00 PM. Several vehicles sustained extensive damage.

At this time, it is unclear if anyone involved in the accident was hurt. However, the investigation remains underway.

NASHVILLE, TN – One person has died after their vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into Mill Creek early Monday morning.

According to WKRN, the fatal crash took place at the intersection of Haywood Lane and Antioch Pike around 1:00 AM on October 18th. The sedan was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the guardrail and overturned off the bridge, landing in the water below. 

The events leading up to the accident remain unclear. Metro Police report that the driver did not attempt to use their brakes in the moments prior to the collision. 

First responders are still working to recover the vehicle from the creek.

The intersection reopened to traffic at 6:30 AM.
