According to a report by WBIR, the crash occurred at about 11 p.m. when one driver crossed the dividing line along Asheville Highway and crashed head-on into a pickup truck.

The first vehicle then traveled back into the westbound lens where it hit another pickup truck.

The driver of the first vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two drivers suffered unknown injuries.

NASHVILLE, TN – A woman believed to be responsible for a fatal DUI crash in early March surrendered to Metro Police on Thursday, WTVF reports.

The crash occurred on March 6th along I-40, just outside of the Nashville International Airport.

Police say the female suspect rear-ended an SUV at a high rate of speed, killing her 26-year-old passenger.

The woman was taken into custody and is facing charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, and open container.

NASHVILLE, TN – Police are searching for several suspects following a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman on Thursday morning, WKRN reports.

The incident took place at about 2 a.m. along Donelson Pike, near the intersection with Elm Hill Pike.

Police say four people were in a vehicle that drove through the red light and careened into another vehicle.  All four occupants got out of the first vehicle and fled on foot.

A female occupant in the second vehicle was sent to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

NASHVILLE, TN – A woman was sent to the hospital after her vehicle crashed into a utility pole on White Bridge Pike on Thursday.

According to WSMV, the crash occurred in the early morning hours, near the intersection with Knob Road.

Investigators say the woman lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons, causing it to flip over and strike a utility pole.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Power was knocked out to several homes in the area but has since been restored.

NASHVILLE, TN – Metro police were called to the scene of a collision just west of downtown on Wednesday morning.

According to Nashville’s current traffic accidents page, the collision took place at about 10:46 a.m. within the 2400 block of Charlotte Avenue, near the intersection with 24th Avenue North.

FRANKLIN, TN – Major delays were reported after a dump truck overturned in southeast Franklin on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report by WKRN, the dump truck hauling rocks crashed along Carothers Parkway, near the Falcon Creek neighborhood.

It is unclear what caused the truck to overturn at this time. However, this portion of Carothers Pkwy. was shut down for several hours while emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.

No injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the crash.
