    WKRN reports that the two-vehicle collision took place on I-24 between the Harding Place exit and the Briley Parkway exit around 2:00 AM on September 24th. The other vehicle involved immediately fled the scene. There is no description of the vehicle available at this time.

    One person suffered minor injuries and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.

    One injured in South Nashville hit-and-run crash

    NASHVILLE, TN – One person has been hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident in South Nashville on Wednesday night.

    According to WKRN, the collision occurred at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Old Radnor Lane around 11:30 PM. 

    Police say a utility truck collided with a car, causing the car to overturn and crash into a ditch. The driver of the utility truck then fled the scene.

    The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Their current condition is unknown.

    Metro Police report that there were at least two occupants inside the utility truck. They request that anyone with information about the accident to please contact Crime Stoppers at (615) 74-CRIME.

    One hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in Madison

    NASHVILLE, TN – One person has been hospitalized after a hit-and-run in Madison shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

    According to WKRN, the crash took place at the intersection of Shannon Avenue and Pierce Road at about 12:30 AM on September 22nd.

    Metro police report the victim was struck by a white tow truck while working on their own vehicle at the side of the road. The driver of the tow truck then fled the scene.

    The injured person was immediately taken to the hospital. The severity of their injuries and their current condition is unknown.

    Elderly man in wheelchair killed by hit-and-run driver

    NASHVILLE, TN – An elderly man in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a driver who fled the scene on Friday, WZTV reports.

    The fatal hit and run occurred at the intersection of Westchester Drive and Devonshire Drive in the Bellshire Terrace neighborhood of north Nashville at about 5:15 p.m. on Friday, May 7. Police say that a white Chevrolet Impala hit the 72-year-old man from behind while he was traveling in the roadway, in an area that has no sidewalk.
