NASHVILLE, TN – The driver of a scooter suffered serious injuries after they were struck in a hit-and-run crash Monday evening.
According to News Channel 5, the crash took place at the intersection of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and Monroe Street around 7:30 PM on December 13th.
A car struck the person on the scooter and dragged them for several feet.
The driver of the car then abandoned their vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
The driver of the scooter suffered serious injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and are expected to survive.
Metro police continue to investigate the hit-and-run accident.
