NASHVILLE, TN – A tractor-trailer caught fire on I-24 West Monday morning, causing significant traffic delays in the Antioch area.
According to FOX 17, the tractor-trailer caught fire near exit 57 for Haywood Lane on I-24 westbound at 11:10 AM on October 25th.
The cause of the fire has yet to be reported.
It is unclear if the driver of the tractor-trailer suffered any injuries as a result of the incident.
All westbound lanes, both shoulders, and the exit ramp were shut down as first responders worked to clear the scene.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident and will release updates when they are available.
