RUTHERFORD CO., TN – At least one person suffered injuries after a semi-truck overturned on I-24 Saturday morning.
According to WKRN, the crash took place on I-24 eastbound Medical Center Parkway and the I-840 split around 10:00 AM on February 12th.
At this time, it is unclear what caused the semi-truck to overturn. One other vehicle appears to be involved in the crash.
The number and severity of injuries are currently unknown.
The area surrounding the crash was shut down for several hours as first responders worked to clear the scene. All lanes have since reopened.
Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
